AN INTRODUCTION:


Organization that is committed to introducing the Islam of the Holy Quran and the Ahlul Bait (AS) to the masses and thus mould them into responsible persons who are imbued deeply with the Islamic spirit and are ready to serve humanity. idhara anjuman sakie ali asgar(a.s) is led by a team of religious scholars,and professionals, who are engaged in various religious, social, educational, and medical activities. Our primary goal is to invest in the future by developing our youth into admirable members of society.

HISTORY


The Organization was established in 1980. At present, it is active in Dab,Ganderbal Jammu and kashmir,India.

OUR PLAN


We have divided our plan into three phases:

Phase 1 - To introduce the real Islam and its teachings to the masses. To achieve this goal, we have written and translated various books, and prepared pamphlets, fliers, cassettes, board games and computer packages. Keeping in view the need of the youth of our region these things are presented mainly in Hindi and Urdu languages.

Phase 2 - To train and mould the masses and especially our youth in the Islamic pattern of life. For this we hold weekly classes, Ramazan-classes, special lectures, conferences, seminars and debates etc.

Phase 3
- To create and introduce a network of responsible Shia Muslims in every walk of life viz Administration, Medicine, Business, Finance, Law, Engineering, Religious Scholarship and Education etc.


OUR ACTIVITIES


WE ARE ENGAGED IN:
- Holding daily and weekly classes on religious subjects for children and youth.
- Organizing occasional programs like quiz competitions, debates, lectures, discourses, seminars, conferences, plays and exhibitions on Islamic themes in different cities.
- Designing a variety of computer programs to impart Islamic teachings to growing people of the community.
- Providing financial help to destitute, poor and needy persons of the community.
- Offering career and vocational guidance and assistance to young Shias.
- Establishing cultural and knowledge-centres (like libraries) in different town.
- Extending free health services to downtrodden section of the community.
- Assisting young members of the community in getting employed.
- Creating awareness among masses towards their religious and morals duties.
- Connecting young Shias with each other for better understanding of religion.
- Encouraging those young members of the community who have keen interest in Islam.
- Resolving conflicts among the followers of Ahle Bait (AS).
- Maintaining liaison with other organizations who have similar goals and policies.


ACHIEVEMENTS


Since its inception in 1991, the Organization, by the grace of Almighty, has been able to accomplish a number of tasks.the teachings of Quran and Ahlul Bait (AS) and creating awareness among masses through a variety of programs and techniques.


1. STUDY CENTRES


Saturday and Sunday classes for young boys and girls to teach them Aqaed (Islamic Beliefs), Ahkam (Islamic code of practices), Akhlaq (Morals and Ethics)and Islamic History followed by the half yearly examination and prize distribution.
Daily evening classes for children and youth to teach Quran, Deeniyat and Urdu.
30-Day crash course of Deeniyat by a qualified Alim-e-Deen for youths during the holy month of Ramazan followed by test and prize distribution.
15-Day crash course to teach beginners the correct recitation of Quran.
Short-term courses on different subjects/topics like Tafseer-e-Quran and Islamic beliefs and practices.

2. TRAINING ( TARBIYATI) CAMPS

The Organization has arranged hundreds of training camps for youth so that they can practice Islamic way of living. Personality development, art of facing interviews, Tajheez-o-takfeen, art etc. are also taught here.

3. QUIZ, DEBATES, CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS

Idhara Anjuman Sakie Ali Asgar (a.s) Organization has a great history of organizing conferences and seminars on different burning topics in different places. These programs are arranged for ladies and gents, and scholars and common people alike.
Debates on contemporary issues have always been a center of attraction for young boys and girls. This gives them a chance to present their views without any hesitation. All debates arranged by the Idhara Anjuman Sakie Ali Asgar (a.s).

4. CAREER GUIDANCE TO THE YOUTHS OF THE COMMUNITY

It is seen that a vast number of young Shias in India do not receive guidance to plan their future properly. They, usually, pursue their studies without any direction or goal. This leads to unemployment and frustration. To cope with this problem the Organization has prepared a comprehensive program through which a professionally sound information has been provided to the guidance seekers. Under this program various career guidance camps have been organized in different places .

5. EXHIBITIONS AND BOOK STALLS

It is a proven and tested fact that the impact of audio-video techniques like exhibitions, plays and skits etc is very high on human brain. To exploit this, the Organization has arranged several exhibitions, plays, dramas, and skits to create awareness about Islamic beliefs, practices and morals among st different sections of the society. Several posters, banners, articles, books, cassettes and CDs/DVDs have been prepared/displayed to achieve the goal.

6. WOMEN’S WING

The Organization observed that women of our community are victims of injustice and oppression. There is a lack of academic and religious awareness in them. Hence the Organization has taken this issue on top priority and started working for the welfare of this section of our community. The organization arranges weakly classes for women, distribute scholarships to female students, promotes hijab, make one to one counselling to solve their family problems etc

7. EDUCATIONAL TOUR

The Organization arranges educational tours as a part of training program.

8. ISLAMIC EDUCATION THROUGH GAMES

The Organization felt that markets are full of colourful and interesting education.


9. ISLAMIC COLOR BOOKS, ILLUSTRATED STORY BOOKS, ETC.

The Organization felt that Islamic colour books, illustrated story books.

10. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION.

The Organization observed that there is a large portion of our community which is below poverty line . It is hard for them to meet out expenses for their daily food, shelter, clothes, medicines and education. Hence the Organization tries it’s best to support them in all the possible ways.

MEMBERSHIP


Our criterion for inclusion of new members is slightly different from other organizations. We believe that every member of our Organization represents it in one way or another, therefore he/she should be well aware of essential Islamic beliefs and his/her religious duty in day to day affairs of his/her life.
To achieve this goal we ask all aspirants to study certain Islamic literature and imbibe it. We expect him/her to translate the teachings contained in the literature into his/her actions before allowing him to become a permanent member of the Organization. Apart from this a nominal yearly fees is also charged from such person.
